Stay On Course In the “Word”…

Good Morning Friends,

It has come with a bit more clarity to me of late. Life is seemingly understandable, fulfilling, and full of God’s Grace when we stay the course in the “Word”.  It allows us to walk with confidence and protect ourselves from sin. In addition properly place our Faith in God’s plan or will for us.

Praise the Lord,

The daily verse is from Psalm 119:9  (NIV)

How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.

Additional passages to reflect our theme today of staying in the Word of God.

Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. (Colossians 2:7 NLT)

But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless. (1 Corinthians 15:57, 58 NLT)

Teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom. (Psalms 90:12 NLT)

In closing a verse from Hebrews I read to close a Leadership Bible Study I recently completed.

For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. (Hebrews 4:12 NLT) Leadership – a 21 day study of leading like Jesus.
