This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all. But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life.*(1 Timothy 1:15, 16 NLT)*Monthly Archives: April 2013

I share with you a passage from the Preface of C.S. Lewis’s “Mere Christianity”.
“When you have reached your own room, be kind to those who have chosen different doors and to those who are still in the hall. If they are wrong they need your prayers all the more; and if they are your enemies, then you are under orders to pray for them. That is one of the rules common to the whole house.”
Walking in the Spirit, we read the defining character traits from the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22 – “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, KINDNESS, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
I pray everyday that we ask ourself and self evaluate honestly. Am I caring and understanding toward everyone I meet?
Discipleship
By Grace Through Faith
8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
18 For through him we both have access in
one Spirit to the Father.
19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.
22 In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.”
Ephesians 2:8-10, 13, 18-22 ESV

Up Lifting Power of God…
1 Peter 5:6 NLT
