Turn Toward God

 

in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.

that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.”

The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?

2013/06/23

Studying The Word

I recently have been on a journey to increase my spiritual maturity, by changing my personal time in the Word. I am connected in several ways; discipleship group, care team, and recently a manuscript study.

All for a desire to draw near to our faithful Savior. I pray daily that I am open completely to what my God is teaching, directing, and blessing me.

Thank you God for saving me!

Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions. (Proverbs 18:2 NIV)

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. (Romans 2:6, 7 NIV)

13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

18 For through him we both have access in plantone Spirit to the Father.
19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.
22 In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.”
