Bring it to the foot of the Cross…

Foot of Cross

Foot of the Cross

We should not be so arrogant, that we forget to pray for one another and use our skills glorify God with our lives…

All of us have special skills. God wants to fill us with his Spirit so we will use those skills for his glory.

Pray for tribulations you hear in the media and news, for the people and the children…

I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations. I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But I do not excuse the guilty. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren; the entire family is affected— even children in the third and fourth generations.” (Exodus 34:7 NLT)

“Honor your father and mother, as the Lord your God commanded you. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the Lord your God is giving you.  (Deuteronomy 5:16 NLT)

Something I think the church community needs to share with all Christians of all faiths…

“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the Lord your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul. (Deuteronomy 10:12 NLT)

Here are the essentials:

  1. Fear God;
  2. Live in a way that pleases him;
  3. Love him;
  4. Serve him with all your heart and soul; and
  5. Obey his commands.

Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it. (James 4:17 NLT)

I need to strengthen my walk with more prayer…

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.  (Romans 8:18 NKJV)

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.  (Matthew 7:21 NKJV)

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;  (I Peter 3:15 NKJV)

I need to bring it all to the foot of the Cross everyday…

Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  (Acts 2:38 NKJV)

Daily Verse:

“For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.”  (Galatians 1:10 NKJV)

Daily Prayer:

Father, help me to go beyond the afflictions and tribulations of our age, and to look toward the inheritance reserved for us in heaven.

Studying The Word

I recently have been on a journey to increase my spiritual maturity, by changing my personal time in the Word. I am connected in several ways; discipleship group, care team, and recently a manuscript study.

All for a desire to draw near to our faithful Savior. I pray daily that I am open completely to what my God is teaching, directing, and blessing me.

Thank you God for saving me!

Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions. (Proverbs 18:2 NIV)

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” (Romans 1:16, 17 NIV)

God “will repay each person according to what they have done.” To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. (Romans 2:6, 7 NIV)

God Bless You,

Discipleship

By Grace Through Faith

8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

18 For through him we both have access in plantone Spirit to the Father.
19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord.
22 In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.”

Ephesians 2:8-10, 13, 18-22 ESV

Peace be with all you Disciples,

What Is In Our Hearts…

Ephesians 3:17, 18 NKJV
“that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—”
